Mosquito fogging & dengue prevention

Mosquito control

Mosquito control and fogging for households, villages and commercial grounds in Metro Manila. Fogging knocks down the adults biting today; treating the breeding sites is what stops next week’s generation.

Lamok and the dengue season

Aedes aegypti breeds in clean standing water — drip trays, roof gutters, drums, tyres — usually within a hundred metres of where it bites, and it feeds during the day rather than at night. That is why screens and evening coils miss it entirely.

Dengue cases in the Philippines climb sharply through the rainy season. Fogging a property once at the peak is reactive; the households that avoid infections treat the breeding sites before the rains and keep them clear.

When to schedule fogging
Dengue cases reported in your barangay
Daytime biting indoors, especially around ankles
Standing water after a week of heavy rain
Before an outdoor event or gathering
At the start and peak of rainy season

What our mosquito control service includes

Breeding-site survey

Gutters, drip trays, drums, tyres, plant saucers and roof drainage checked and cleared.

Thermal or ULV fogging

Adult knockdown across yards, perimeters and common areas, scheduled around occupancy.

Larviciding

Treatment of standing water that cannot be drained, safe for the surrounding area.

Village and barangay programs

Scheduled community fogging with advance notice and coverage documentation.

Why fogging alone is not enough

A can of aerosol clears one room for an hour. Fogging without larviciding clears your yard for about a week, then the next batch emerges from the same drip tray.

Doing both together cuts the adults and the next generation at once, which is the only combination that holds through the rainy season.

Indicative price
₱1,000 – ₱6,000

Per fogging pass on a residential lot. Villages, schools and commercial grounds are quoted on area.

On the day

This is the one treatment where everyone leaves. Plan to be out of the house for the full window; we will not shorten it to suit a schedule.

Questions we get asked

How much does mosquito fogging cost?

A residential fogging pass runs ₱1,000 to ₱6,000 depending on lot size and whether larviciding is included. Village and subdivision programs are quoted per hectare.

Do we need to leave during fogging?

Yes — two to four hours for the fog to settle and disperse. Cover food and aquariums, take pets out, and ventilate for thirty minutes when you return.

How often should fogging be done?

Every four to six weeks through the rainy season for properties with recurring problems. One-off fogging before an event is fine, but it will not hold for the season.
